If you are on the Scale plan, you can download your AI-generated analysis as a Markdown (.md) file. This makes it easy to store the analysis for later, repurpose the content, or share the AI-analysis with your organization outside of Wondering, in applications like Notion, Google Docs or Confluence.
How to download your AI analysis
To export your analysis as Markdown, follow these steps:
Go to the completed study’s Results page.
Click the three-dot ⋮ menu in the top right corner.
Select “Export analysis as Markdown.”
The Markdown file (with a .md extension) will download to your computer.
Where you can use your Markdown file
Once you have your AI analysis downloaded as a Markdown file, you can upload it to various platforms, such as knowledge repositories. Here are a few examples of how to import or open your Markdown analysis on popular tools:
Google Docs
Option A (from Google Docs): In Google Docs, go to File > Open, then upload the Markdown file from your computer. Google Docs will convert and open it as a Google Doc.
Option B (from Google Drive): In Google Drive, upload the Markdown file. Then right-click the file, and choose Open with > Google Docs to open it.
Notion
Notion can import Markdown content directly. You can use Notion’s Import feature or simply paste the Markdown text into a Notion page. For detailed instructions, refer to Notion’s guide on importing data into Notion.
Confluence
Confluence supports Markdown via its Insert Markup feature. To import your analysis into Confluence:
In Confluence’s editor, select Insert > Markup from the toolbar.
In the Markup dialog, choose Markdown as the markup type.
Paste your Markdown text into the input field and preview it.
Click Insert to add the content to your Confluence page.
Troubleshooting
Markdown file won’t open properly: If the Markdown file doesn’t display correctly in one application, try opening it in another program or copy-pasting the content into your preferred text editor or Markdown viewer. Different platforms may render Markdown differently, so using a dedicated Markdown editor can help preserve formatting.
Export option not available: The Export analysis as Markdown feature is available to Scale plan customers only. If you’re on a different plan or trial, you will not be able to download AI analysis as Markdown.
