What are AI Conversations?

AI Conversations is a new study block that we've launched that allows you input research topics/ questions. We then use AI to ask questions to your participants that gather answers to those questions.

How do I add one?

When creating a study, click + New Block and then select AI Conversations. This will add:

You will then need to update the following fields:

  • Research goal: input your research goal here. This will improve the quality of the questions.

  • User definition: add who you expect to take part in the conversation. This is used to improve the quality of the conversations and is NOT a screener.

  • Research topics: add what you'd like to learn here. Adding extra information via "e.g." can be used to further highlight this.

When you've completed your first draft then give the conversation a go in the preview. Add or remove information in the Research Topics field to refine the conversation.

Why would I use this?

Save time

We know that we're all busy and sometimes struggle to make time to write good research questions that answer what you're looking to discover. Our AI has been trained to follow research best practice and so you can leave it to do that work for you.

Secondly, running and analysing research is really time consuming. With AI conversations we do the hard work for you.

Generative research

Doing unmoderated, unbiased generative research is really hard. With AI conversations you can now start to gain a deeper understanding of your users.

Automatically follow up

When running surveys open text questions are generally avoided as they're a pain to analyse and participants generally give shallow answers. With AI conversations we do the analysis for you AND follow up with participants to ensure they give a good answer to your questions.
