Prototype tasks are available in a private alpha to select companies and will be in public beta soon.
Add a prototype task block
Setting up your first prototype task is very straightforward. First add a Prototype task block.
Add your Figma prototype link
Head over to your Figma prototype and copy the shareable link. If you haven't connected a Figma account to Wondering before then you'll be asked to enable this.
Tips:
Ensure the prototype is set to Anyone can view.
Adjust the prototype display settings in Figma to match your desired presentation.
For mobile prototypes we recommend adding a device frame and setting the prototype scaling to "Fixed (width)".
Set the start and end screens for your task
In Wondering, prototype tasks need to have an end screen. Click "Define" and then:
Select the screen where participants will start.
Choose the screen where the task will automatically complete.
Once done, your prototype task is all set up.
Customise the task instructions
Once the prototype is set up, customise the task instructions for your participants. We recommend doing this in three parts:
Scenario: use this to set the scene and put your participants in the right mindset.
Task: this is what you'd like your participant to do. Make sure this is really clear and not too complex.
Guidance: Encourage participants to speak aloud for richer feedback, and provide any additional instructions that may be helpful.
Avoid adding too much content here, as it can distract participants from the task. If you need to provide additional guidance or context, use a separate Message block before the prototype task.
